It can be argued that it is none of them. It's all a matter of opinion. It depends on what matters the most to you. If it's horsepower, the 1970 LS6 Chevelle had the highest factory rated engine at 450 HP and 500 FT LBS of torque... A record the Chevelle held for literally decades. Of the three you mentioned, I'd rule out the Mach 1 simply because many prefer the '69 Mach 1 over the '71. The '69 Camaro is the most popular Camaro, and the '70 Challenger is an iconic car just like the '69 Camaro is. But like I said, you can ask 50 different people the same question and get 50 different answers.
During the 1970's, the Ford Mustang counterparts were the Chevrolet Camaro, Dodge Challenger, Pontiac Firebird, Plymouth Road Runner, American Motors AMX, Oldsmobile 442, Buick Skylark GS, and other more powerful muscle cars.
The Challenger was indeed inspired by the Mustang but it was not a direct copy.
corvette or a challenger
Better... at what?
The Dodge Viper is the fastest in these models. But son, you don't compare a Mustang GT to a Corvette and Viper. Here is the class a GT Mustang belongs in. Mustang GT, Challenger SRT8, Camaro SS. The only Ford vehicle that would compare to the Corvette and Viper would be the Shelby GT500 Mustang. And, in the Mustang GT group, it wins with the new 2011 5.0L V8.
( NO ) the Ford Mustang was released in 1964 and to compete the Chevrolet Camaro was released in late 1966 as a 1967 model
To compete with the camaro and mustang in the pony car wars.
The 2012 mustang is faster. Even though the camaro has more hp the mustang is lighter and faster than the camaro and the charger / challenger.
the chevy
Mustang..Camaro..Challenger..
Drove bolth they are very nice but challenger very nice and comfy inside, but it handles around the conners bad mustang is well built for conners but yet not as good as some other vehicles so i would say they are bolth good cars just depends on you if you want better performance (mustang) or better confort and smoothness of a ride (challenger)
the mustang and challenger.
