In 1867, Lipmann, a watchmaker's son, had set up a watch business in Besançon, France. The Lip factory produced 10 millions watches between this date and 1974.

Some of this watches are collectors now. A few calibers are famous as the T18 or the

R25. All the Lip watches after 1975 are not real Lip but juste replica (often made in Asia with bad quartz calibers). Excuse me for my bad english.
