To fix the window regulator on a 1988 Mazda RX-7, first remove the door panel by unscrewing any fasteners and carefully prying it off. Disconnect the electrical connector for the window motor and remove the regulator assembly by unscrewing its mounting bolts. Replace the faulty regulator with a new or refurbished unit, ensuring all components are aligned properly, and reassemble the door panel by reversing the disassembly steps. Test the window operation before finalizing the installation.

To replace the window cables on a 1990 Mazda, first, remove the door panel by unscrewing any screws and carefully prying it off. Next, detach the window regulator from the door and remove the old cables. Install the new cables by threading them through the regulator and reassembling the components in reverse order, ensuring everything is securely fastened before reattaching the door panel. Finally, test the window operation to confirm proper installation.

I/C regulator built inside alternator.
Replacing the window regulator in a 2002 Mazda Miata can be moderately challenging, especially for those with limited automotive experience. It typically requires removing the interior door panel, disconnecting electrical components, and carefully maneuvering the regulator out of the door. While it can be done with basic hand tools and some patience, having a repair manual or online guide can significantly help in navigating the process. Overall, it's a manageable task for someone with a bit of mechanical skill.
there is a small clip between the handle and door panel that u have to remove it is easy if u have a small pick to hook it with then to install just place clip on handle and push on the window regulator shaft.
