The Democratic Party.
The modern Democratic Party, with it's penchant for a large federal bureaucracy and massive government, is hardly representative of Jefferson's political views. At the same time, the modern Republican Party, with it's policies of restrictive social liberty, would not be home for Jefferson either.
Jefferson's type of Republicanism would more likely be comparative to the modern day Libertarian Party, with it's focus on State's rights, personal and economic liberty, and non-intrusive military policy.
