Which isotope of argon is most commonly found?

99.6% of Argon is Argon40

Do radioisotopes expose us to radiation on a daily basis?

Yes. As isotopes decay they release release alpha particles, beta particles, or gamma rays. The kind on radiation they release depends on the source material. Since most of these isotopes are naturally occurring in the Earth's crust, their decay can be detected as background radiation.answ2. background radiation is usually of no concern unless you live in a granite area, in which case, IF it is releasing Radon, that is harmful. The potassium40 in your body is decaying to Argon40, with a release of about the same amount of radioactivity as you you'd get from an ionization smoke detector. Or from lying alongside someone in bed.Because bananas are high in potassium, it has been known for a bulk shipment to trigger radiation alarms at a port. But continue with your usual lifestyle, and enjoy bananas.

What is radioactive decay and how is it used to determine the absolute age of a rock?

every radioactive isotope has a measurable half-life, which is the time it takes for half the original isotope to decay to something else. So if we know how much was there originally, it's easy to calculate how long it's been decaying. In many cases we also use the product of the decay, which gives us a very good way to find out how much was originally there.

What people do about nuclear radition?

Not all nuclear radiation is very harmful. (But it is still better to minimise your exposure to it.)Bananas for example contain potassium, and so do you.Potassium40 has a half life of 1.3x10^9 years before it becomes Argon40 or Calcium40. (different reactions)And you contain K40, and it likewise decays as above. K40 is about 0.012% of the total potassium.Granite gives off a dangerous radioactive heavy gas called Radon, and this is a problem with granite houses, and sometimes with basements. The best thing to do about radiation is to become well informed.
