Samsung, Nokia, HTC, Apple. Android, & Blackberry are all cell phone companies that utilize the 3 mobile network as a carrier for their cellular products. These companies also use other networks, and are not limited to the 3 mobile network.

In the future VoIP will replace telephone network so i guess its the telephone companies will be worried once VoIP invade telecommunication.

I think PSTN mainly serves to wired land-line(telephone) and MSC serves to cellular(mobile) network.
