Only Puerto Rico. Cuba and the Philippines both sought and achieved independence. Guam became a US Territory at the same time and under the same Treaty of Paris in 1898. It has only 178,000 residents which is far to small to afford the trappings of Indepence and even considered by most as well below the threshold for consideration as a US State.
