There is no better. Each has plus and minus. Diesel has more torque (pulling power), will last longer, gets better mileage, but cost more to buy and maintain. Diesel fuel is also more costly. Petrol is cheaper to build, costs less to maintain, normally has more horsepower, and gasoline is cheaper than diesel. The decision on which to buy is much easier to make today due to how clean diesel engines are now.
patrol cars are better than diesel ones if the use is very less.
You cannot convert a turbo diesel driven car to a petrol motor. You have to buy a car that uses the petrol motor.
The petrol one uses petrol, and, wait for it, the diesel one uses diesel!
Depends on the car, if a car has petrol and diesel version than yes
Well with the high prices today, it's cheaper to buy gas because it's cheaper than diesel. Diesel is most expensive.
Petrol cars rev higher so they are usually faster, but diesel cars have more torque so can pull heavy weights better. Top speed is better in a petrol, but because diesel cars have turbo charges, some are just as fast.
Yes, petrol/gasoline will severely damage a diesel engine.
It Depends, if you are a long distance driver then go for a diesel as it is very economical. But if you are looking for something fast and don't drive long distances then go for a petrol car. I prefer diesel cars as they are cheaper to run, powerful, economical and cheaper to tax.
diesel is more efficient
Look at the fuel nozzle insert. If its green it petrol (unleaded),,,,, black diesel.
No.
Stupid idea.
car is powered by battery ,petrol, diesel.
