Yes, I beleive it can. My mother is 81 years of age and has been on lisinopril for 9 years. She started seeing spiders about 2 years ago on her bedroom wall, and the problem has now progressed to seeing people in her house, in her yard, in the car parked in the garage. It is more common in elderly patients were the drug can leach into the part of the brain that can cause illucinations, probably due to the aging of the vains, or the fact that they are on blood thinners etc. I belive this problem is much more common than Doctors realize. My friends father who is on same medication has had similar case of seeing spiders. There are other medications that could be used that can reduce blood pressure, a non ACE inhibitor medication can cure the problem wihin days.
