There are no direct trains from Nottingham to Heathrow. You need to go: - Nottingham to London St. Pancras - St. Pancras to Paddington (Underground, Circle line) - London St. Pancras to Heathrow. Alternatively, cheaper but slower: - Nottingham to London St. Pancras - St. Pancras to Heathrow (Underground, Piccadilly line)
The train from Birmingham International arrives into London Euston, you'd then need to get to St Pancras from there. It is only a few stops on the underground.
No. You need to get a Piccadilly line tube from any of Heathrow's terminals to Green Park, then you need to change onto a Victoria line train to Kings Cross/St. Pancras. From King's Cross train station you can get an East Coast main line train to Durham.
You will not need to. East Midlands Trains run services from Chesterfield to London St Pancras. For the majority of the day, they depart Chesterfield at XX:39 and XX:59, with some also departing around 47/48 minutes past. You're best to check train times before you depart though.
trains need railroad tracks for a one way trip with no delays and so the goods that it is transporting will get their on time .
I asked Eurostar themselves and got this answer. Pancras Road runs off Euston Rad, on the Eastern side of St Pancras. You need to be driving Eastwards along Euston Road to turn into it. The drop-off area is a few yards up Pancras Road. "Thank you for your e mail, You can drop off at Pancras Road if you are not stopping and are simply dropping off. If you are going in to terminal you will need to park in car park. Kind Regards Louise Your question (William Emmett) 04/05/2008 04.57 PM I want to take my wife to St Pancras International as she is travelling to Brussels via Eurostar with heavy luggage. Where is the car drop off point please?"
Check eBay, or contact Lionel Trains about it.
Do you live in the UK? If so, you can get a bus, train, coach or drive there. If you live outside, you will probably need to fly to Manchester or Sheffield (Doncaster) airport.

Modern trains are powered by diesel or electricity. There are still some coal powered steam trains in service, mainly on tourist lines.
Its not the speed over the roadbed that counts (all 3 are about the same) but the fact that unit trains do not need to be classified at each intermediary yard that makes them the "fastest".
Like everything in the world, trains will, inevitably, grow old and need replacing. Old trains could be dangerous and pose health and safety issues.
