William McKinley was supposedly the first president to play a round of Golf. Taft played golf but not often when he was president but he likely was the first sitting president to play golf. Wilson certainly played golf while he was president, but not very well.

By all accounts, the 27th US president William Howard Taft loved golf. His devotion to the game became an issue in the 1908 election, but criticism did not stop Taft from playing at least twice a week after he moved into the White House.

I am not sure which president fits this description, but I do know that President Eisenhower's staff removed three squirrels that were digging up Ike's favorite putting green on the White House grounds. It wasn't that the president hating squirrels-- he hated what they were doing to his golf game. On the other hand, President Reagan became rather fond of the White House squirrels, and on one of his presidential Christmas cards, he had a picture of a squirrel running across the lawn.
he accompished being a president a good leader a good husband he was strongly passionate for golf... he was the first president to play golf also.. very interesting!
The White House Putting Green lies a short walk outside the Oval Office door to the southeast. A putting green was first installed by President Dwight Eisenhower in 1954 with help from the United States Golf Association and private donations. Eisenhower was a very avid golfer and was sometimes criticized for it, but he and his doctor readily defended the habit as good for his health, which had suffered during his presidency.
No- but there was once a putting green-- I do not know if it is kept up..
Not at his home in Chicago, but if you are asking about the White House in Washington DC, it has all sorts of amenities for the president and his family. Presidents can golf, play tennis, swim, take a nature walk with their family, watch a movie, etc. There has been a swimming pool on the grounds since 1975, at the request of then-President Gerald Ford.
