If it's what I think it is - there was a tv advert years ago - where a girl was advertising Nimble bread. The balloon was used to promote the fact that it was a low calorie food suggested to be 'lighter than air'
If there is warm air in the balloon, cooler air makes the balloon rise and if there is cold air in the balloon warmer air makes the balloon fall.
Air= air in balloon solid= balloon and basket
D: The hot air inside the balloon becomes less dense than the air outside the balloon.
The air inside a hot air balloon is the same as normal air around the balloon and the air you're breathing, only heated by the flame inside the balloon, hence HOT AIR balloon.
when you fill a balloon with air the air makes pressure. the air pressure maximizes the balloon fabric allowing the balloon to expand.
air is heavier than balloon, air rises
with out the hot air the balloon would not rise
The air in the balloon will cool , and the balloon will start to decend.
Because the fire or heating device heats the air in the top section ( the actual balloon ) and hot air rises... so the hot air trapped in the balloon makes the balloon rise :)
When a hot air balloon is filled with the hot air the air around the balloon is a lot denser. So by convection the balloon rises and the less dense air is replaced by dense air underneath it.
When the burner on a hot air balloon is turned on the air inside the balloon is heated making it less dense. This will cause the balloon to be more buoyant and climb.
air is heavier than balloon, air rises
