Assuming the "seals" in question are the "seven seals" on the scroll in the book of Revelation... all seven of them have been "opened" or "stripped away" by Jesus Christ.

"...behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to OPEN THE BOOK, and to LOOSE THE SEVEN SEALS THEREOF." (Rev.5:5)

"...THOU ART WORTHY to take the book [scroll], and to OPEN THE SEALS THEREOF: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." (verses 9-10)

Jesus opens all but the seventh seal in the next chapter [6].

Chapter 6 concludes with: "For the great Day of His Wrath is come; who shall be able to stand." The "Great Day of His Wrath" is the much prophesied "DAY OF THE LORD" spoken of by the prophets of God throughout The Bible.

According to the prophet Joel, the Great Day of His Wrath, shall occur AFTER the "sixth seal" of Revelation [the darkening of the sun and moon]:

"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the Great and the Terrible Day of the Lord come." (Joel 2:31)

The "Day of the Lord" [the Great Day of His Wrath that follows Revelation's seal 6] then becomes the "seventh seal" upon the scroll in Revelation... and is revealed as the theme of Revelation.

Six of the seven seals are allopened in chapter 6. Which leaves 16 of the 22 chapters of Revelation devoted to "SEAL 7," which Jesus opens in chapter 8 after the "protective sealing" of God's elect on earth [chapter 7] who shall not be "hurt" by the "seven Trumpet plagues of God" [the seventh seal] when they begin to blow.

The "Day of the Lord" is the prophesied time of the RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST TO EARTH WITH THE KINGDOM OF GOD. The book of Revelation is a prophecy of the events that lead up to Jesus' return... and what happens afterward when all things shall be made anew.

All seven seals HAVE ALREADY BEEN OPENED... but not all seven HAVE BEEN FULFILLED.

Only the first four seals [the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypes - see the first four seals of Revelation 6] have been... and have remained in constant fulfillment and increasing frequency and intensity since man chose Satan to worship in the Garden of Eden. False religion, wars, famines, pestilences and diseases have plagued every generation of man, since.

These four ancient and ongoing "man-made plagues" brought on by man's sins [disobedience to the laws of God - I John 3:4] are even now leading mankind headlong into the prophesied "fifth seal" -- the Great Tribulation. The chronology of Matthew 24 explains it.

Of man's ongoing woes of the galloping Four Horsemen, Jesus says:

"ALL THESE ARE THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS." (Matt.24:8)

These are the sorrows, woes and tribulations that have followed man since Adam and Eve. THE WORLD LIVES WITH THESE THINGS, DAILY!

These four seals have long been opened, in constant fulfillment, and increasing with man's war-making technology in frequency and severity. They are building and developing into the "time of the end" of man's rule on earth, when:

"...except those day should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Matt.24:22)

Jesus "opened" seal five [the Great Tribulation]... but it hasn't yet been fulfilled.

Jesus also "opened" seal six [the 'heavenly signs that cut the Great Tribulation short]... but it hasn't been "fulfilled," yet. Because seal six comes AFTER seal five [Matt.24:29].

Jesus has also "opened" seal seven for us to read and "believe"... if we want to. But, since it comes AFTER the darkening of the sun and moon, which is seal six... it, too, hasn't yet seen fulfillment.

But, all seven seals have been opened.

Actually only the first 5 seals have been opened because the evidences of them are being seen everywhere and have been for hundreds of years even back to Jesus day.

But the 6th seal which describes a worldwide earthquake and stars falling to earth causing worldwide fires and craters has obviously not happened yet. Also at the same time the people of the world will cry out for the rocks to fall on them and hide them from God's wrath. The 7th seal is the first Day of the Lord and also Jesus will be seen by everyone in the air collecting his elect. This will also be the start of the last great tribulation period.

This seal is about to be broken any day now and when it happens you will know it.

Additional Summary:

The first 4 Seals of Revelation 6 began in the days of the Apostles to our current time - with ever increasing intensity. The future 5th Seal puts us in direct contact with the end times with God acknowledging the past persecution of the Martyrs and we are told we must wait 'a little while longer' until the number of God's servants and their fellow brethren is completed before God avenges their deaths.

The future 6th Seal will get the entire world's attention with "the powers of the heavens will be shaken" (see Matthew 24:29). This will occur at the end of the tribulation period and the completion of the killing of the martyrs. After these and other supernatural events take place - the ending of Satan's 2 1/2 years of wrath against mankind (the final 3 Woes), there will be silence in Heaven which introduces the future and final 7th Seal - a period of approximately 1 year (Day of the Lord) when God intervenes fully into the final punishment of mankind culminating 3 1/2 years and the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ.
