Depends on the beer. Some places pasteurize their beer, others don't. Typically it is not because the brewing process and the alcohol tend to kill off any bacteria that might be a problem. Draft beer and bottle-conditioned microbrews are not pasteurized. Most of the mega brand beers (Budweiser, Miller, etc.) are pasteurized.
