You can copy the new command.com file to C:\ & C:\Windows\Command & C:\Windows\System

First you need to google blue screen code. Typically, there are 2 categories of issues : system is corrupted or hardware is malfunctioning. If system is corrupted, then you have to reinstall windows, or some drivers, software. If hardware is corrupted, you need to replace broken parts. Typically it is ram, but might be disk, or processor overheating.

If you have a Windows XP operating system CD, you can go to START>RUN and type in sfc /scannow. SFC stands for System File Checker, and will scan your Windows XP installation for corrupt or damaged files. If it finds any file issues it uses the CD to fix them. It's best to have all other applications closed when scanning.
