Depends on your culture and what your family likes. When i was child on west coast of US . traditionally we would have angel food cake, with chocolate sauce Or Strawberry shortcake dessert with the cake being pound cake.

But now we enjoy Carrot cake at Easter.

In the UK Simnel cake is eaten traditionally.
