The background color will almost always work (unless the browser doesn't support any colors at all) but the background image may not load properly or may take a long time to load. If you have light text on a dark background image, the text will not be readable against the default white background until the background image appears. It's a good idea to assign a background color that is similar to the background image to prevent this problem.

i cant find it either they try and make you have them make it for you for money tell me if you find it If you type on the blank page and then click the save icon ( the little disk looking thing that is the only button on the entire page). Then click your back or home button and re-enter the page you were just trying to edit. THEN it will give you a little icon that says 'html' click that and you are golden. Anyone know which tag works for placing a background image??? I can't get any of them to work!!! UGH.
