all type of fish and sea food are halal in Islam (you are allowed to eat them )
Quran says:
Meaning English translation:
{Made lawful to you is the fished of the sea and its food, an enjoyment for you and for travelers. But you are forbidden the hunted of the land whilst you are on pilgrimage. Have fear of Allah, before whom you shall all be assembled. (96)}
[Quran, chapter 5, Surat Alma'eda, verse 96]
{To hunt and to eat the fish of the sea is made lawful for you, a provision for you and for seafarers; but to hunt on land is forbidden you so long as ye are on the pilgrimage. Be mindful of your duty to Allah, unto Whom ye will be gathered. (96)}
Stricter Shiite ViewImam Baqir narrated (in al-Kolayni and al-Kaafi):"Eat any fish that has scales, and do not eat what does not have scales."
From this, it tells us that any fish that do not have scales are not halal for us to eat. Some examples of these types of fishes are:
All kinds of fish are Hallal (Lawfal); the prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) had said regarding the sea "it's the one that its water is purifying and its dead is lawfal" also the Noble Quran mentions in 5:96 that the fish in the sea is lawfal.
According to Imam Abu Hanifa, from among the marine animals that are fully aquatic, only the fish is allowed to eat. Here, fish refers to everything that falls within the definition of fish. As defined by marine scientists, fish is 'an aquatic, cold blooded, gill breathing vertebrate with a two-chambered heart'. Based upon this definition, whale, shrimp, lobster, sea crab, crayfish, squids, octopus, oyster, sea snail etc. are not 'fish', and will not be permissible according to Imam Abu Hanifa. Imam Abu Hanifa does not allow the consumption of everything from the sea. Only the fish is allowed (all types). The reason for this is that all animals of the sea die on its own. Due to this, they are known to be carrion (maitah), and from among the carrion which are allowed to consume, the fish and locust have been made permissible. About this, the Prophet (SAS) stated, 'Two types of dead (carrion-maitah) are lawful for us …. They are fish and locust'. (Ahmad, Ibn Majah). The hadith clearly establishes that from among the dead (carrion) of the sea only the fish is allowed, and this is the verdict of Imam Abu Hanifa (AR).
And Allah knows best.

All fish and sea food types are halal and are allowed for Muslims to eat unless any of them proved to be poisonous.
Fish and all sea food types are allowed (halal) for Muslims to eat.
Any kind of sea food including all fish types is halal (allowed) for Muslims to eat.
Anything from the sea- even if it's dead- is halal.
Fish of all kinds is Halal provided it is not roated/cooked in swine fat.
Fish of all kinds is Halal provided it is not roated/cooked in swine fat.
Fish of all kinds, including cod fish, is Halal provided it is not roasted/cooked in swine fat.
YES!
It is considered Halal but it also is not, they're is an ongoing debate about weather prawns and lobsters are 'meat' or not. While they do come from an animal, meat is meant to be just farm animals. If you are Islamic, I wouldn't eat it.
All fish and sea food types, including hard shelled fish, are halal and are allowed for Muslims to eat unless any of them proved to poisonous.
Any animal slaughtered following the dhabihah method is considered halal. Also, fish and seafood are automatically considered halal.
Fish is the animal of the sea. It's halal because it isn't a 'wild' animal and it doesn't eat trash like a pig.
