Anyone can edit unanswered questions. But you must have a minimum of 100 contributions to edit answered questions.

Yes, unregistered users can answer questions on WikiAnswers but only registered users are able to edit answers.

It is easier to only have registered members edit answered questions because we can talk to the registered users to warn them or to give them tips.

Answer or edit questions on WikiAnswers!

Neither WikiAnswers nor Answers Corporation provide English lessons or education for its users. However the WikiAnswers site has a team of hundreds of Supervisors that are happy to edit the grammar of the questions and answers submitted to the site, as we appreciate that our users come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.

Yes, non-registered users can see everything a registered user can, but they are very limited in what kind of edits they are allowed to make. Unregistered users can ask and answer questions, view question answers, and view user's edit history. However, they are not allowed to rename questions, or edit answered questions.

Well, there is a little question mark next to the Minor Edit Check Box that explains its purpose and how to use it. If you are not adding content but fixing grammar, you would check that box. Otherwise, you would leave it unchecked as i do when adding content to questions such as these or when I am writing answers to unanswered questions.

If you are asking how to revert a question to a previous state, you can't. Normal users do not have that power granted to them. Only supervisors can revert questions to previous versions.

At this time if you would like to improve an answer on WikiAnswers you are required to make an account and sign in. Unregistered users are able to answer unanswered questions but are not able to edit existing answers. This reduces the amount of vandalism on the site and keeps good answers from being erased or changed.

Signing up for an account allows you to use more advanced features on WikiAnswers. You can't edit questions without signing up for an account because WikiAnswers wants you to sign up and contribute to WikiAnswers. Think of not signing up as a demo version of WikiAnswers - you can use some of the features of WikiAnswers, just to get a feel for WikiAnswers, and we give you just enough so you can figure out how everything works on WikiAnswers. Signing up for your account gives you all the standard features on WikiAnswers that you didn't get in your 'demo' version of WikiAnswers. The standard features include editing, while the demo version does not. Signing up for WikiAnswers is completely free, so signing up for WikiAnswers will allow you to edit questions. The other main reason is because of vandalism. 90% of vandalism occurs from unregistered users on WikiAnswers, so giving unregistered users the power to edit a question could potentially give them the power to wipe out every answer on WikiAnswers. That is why you must sign up for an account to edit.

Anybody can edit most questions on WikiAnswers. Supervisors can delete questions, but we generally do not.

Yes, Wikipedia is similar to WikiAnswers in the fact that there are users who can edit anything, and that they both use the Wiki format.

Questions on WikiAnswers that have already been given an answer may be viewed by many people, and could easily be vandalized by users who are not signed in. Additionally, it is very difficult to track edits and block users who are not signed in. Because of this, users are required to sign in before editing an answer.

The users and supervisors on the site edit WikiAnswers. In other words, millions of people around the world participate in the editing process.

There are a lot of ways to earn more contributions on WikiAnswers. To name a few: Flag questions Unflag questions Split alternates Edit questions Edit answers Answer questions Ask questions Add related links Remove related links Add related questions Re-categorize questions Discuss questions.

Yes. WikiAnswers is based on wiki technology which means that anyone can write an answer or edit an answer.

'Wiki' is a type of website where members can edit anything, and Answers is the website that bought and owns WikiAnswers, so by combining the word 'Wiki' with the owner website name 'Answers' (Answers.com), it comes together as 'WikiAnswers.com', where members can edit anything freely under the Answers.com name. People can get their answers just by typing their questions in the question box, edit questions, edit answers, recategorize questions, and much more! That is the freedom of a wiki.

Because there are lots of people who are working hard to answer all the questions..
