The last hurricane to hit the US at least, was Paula which affected the Florida Keys.
Oddly enough no hurricane made landfall in the U.S. in 2010. The closes we came was when Hurricane Earl sideswiped the Atlantic coast.

Oddly enough, hurricane Earl did not make a direct hit on the U.S. but rather skimmed the east coast. Only parts of South Carolina experienced hurricane force winds. The storm came closest On September 2, 2010 when the eye came within 85 miles of Cape Hatteras. As it moved northward it continued to affect the east coast with wind and rain until September 4.
Hurricane Bill did not make landfall in the US in 2009, but it did bring high surf and rip currents to the East Coast. Hurricane Grace formed in 2009 but dissipated in the Atlantic Ocean before reaching the US.
There have been 3 Category 5 hurricanes since 1899 that have hit the U.S. at category 5 strength: the Labor Day hurricane of 1935, Hurricane Camille of 1969, and Hurricane Andrew of 1992.
