turn the plug to the left.if using a racthet and socket looking at the back of the racthet the lever will be to the left
Lefty loosey, righty tighty. So in other words, turn the plug counterclockwise to remove it.
Bottom of pan under block. Lowest point, usually left to loosen.
not sure what an SD is but if it is a vehicle, locate the oil pan underneath. There will be a drain plug that when taken out allows the oil to drain. I suggest letting the engine turn a couple of minutes to warm the oil, it flows out more freely. When drained(into a container) replace the plug, the oil, and your on you way. Don't change oil without changing the filter.
It depends if you are loosening it or tightening it.
You turn it counter clockwise to loosen.
walk to the right side of the bike. lay down and look underneath the bike. You will see an oil pan just behind the engine and just below the tranny. the engine oil drain plug is at the front and the tranny plug is facing you and about half way of the pan

counter-clockwise
Its always counterclockwise. isn't it?
Find the drain plug on the tranny oil pan. Loosen it and the fluid should start to drain - remove the plug all the way and let the contents go into a pan. When doing this, one also needs to change the tranny oil filter - this is accomplished by removing the tranny oil pan and changing it.
