first remove the pannel, remove the whats left of the old door glass and clean out all bits of broken glass. in the front of the door you will see the front track that runs verticaly down into the door, the bottom of this track is held in place by a 10 mm bolt (down by the speaker) remove this bolt, do not remove the track. roll the regulator up to about midway, the glass is installed from the 'out side', tip the front of the glass down and push it into the door at this time you must also insert the front roller of the regulator into the U channel of the door glass. push the glass down and roll the back of the glass into the door. now you should have the glass in the door and the front roller of the regulator in the U channel of the door glass. by rolling the window up and down you will find a 'sweet spot' where you can push the glass all the way forward (beside the front track.. ALL the way forward) this will alow you to insert the rear roller of the regulator into the U channel of the door glass. now both rollers should be in the channel. push the door glass all the way back into the rear track, roll the window all the way down, push the front track forward and then back onto the door glass, install the 10 mm bolt to hold the track in place. (hint... do not force anything these fall right into place if you are in the right spot or have the right angle) hope this helps
yes, of course it does(well it should) because the van door hasn't smashed has it!!
yes
With the "barn doors" there is no way to open the windows. With the top glass and lower tailgate you can either insert the key into the tailgate like you would a door and turn it to "pop" open the glass. OR there should be a button to the left of the stereo (below the rear windshield wiper control) that will "pop" the rear glass.
After you remove the door trim & plastic rain shield.. lower the window regulator until you see the attachments. Lower a wooden stick (broom stick would do) between the attachment and the outer door skin. Now you to punch out the center of the rivet - NOTE: the stick braces the attachment from the impact. After you remove the center pin, drill out the rest of the metal rivets with a 1/4" bit - luckily there only 2 rivets. The 2 plastic glass attachments should fall down to the bottom of the door. You need to separate them and reattach them on the new glass. Make sure the glass channels are free of broken pieces before you insert the new glass. After you insert the glass line it up with the regulator and re-rivet back on . if rivets are not available you can use nuts and bolts.
