The batteries in a Ford Mondeo key fob go in with the positive side facing up. This is the more flat side with the writing on it.
The Key Fob for cars are the buttons, which depending on the type of car and type of Fob have to be programed a certain way.
The only way to pop the trunk is with your key or the button on the key fob
The only way to open the trunk is the key fob or key
There is no trunk release in the car the only way to open trunk is with key or your key fob
Get in touch with a Rover dealer, tell them the problem, they can find out the code for your lock on the door. That way you will not need your fob to open the doors or immobilise it.
There are no buttons in the glove box or center console for the trunk on the 08. The only way to open the trunk is either with the key or the button on the key fob.
Behind the badge on the grill twist it around insert key and turn one way to release then the other to open
The only other way is using the key fob I guess you could hot wire the mustang, but i DO NOT recommend it, because it's illegal
Flip the badge over on the front, there will be a key hole behind it... ... Stick your ignition key in, and turn it one way, then the other (as described by diagrams on the lock)... Your bonnet will then pop open
It varies from c (ar to car...some cars will silence the auto alarm when a key is used to open the door, or to start the engine. But as far as I can remember with my 95 SAAB 900SE Convertible...the alarm would be turned on when you used the remote fob to auto-lock the doors, and would disarm itself when you used the remote fob to auto-unlock the doors. If you locked the car with the fob, and then unlocked it with the key instead of the remote, the alarm would NOT be disarmed, and would go off! (That is, would literally "sound the alarm".) The only way I ever found to turn it off was to use the key fob again. I do NOT know what you would do if you locked it with the fob and then the fob was lost or broke or had its battery die. I had purchased the car used...the previous owner had told me there was no other way to turn off the alarm other than using the fob...but I never investigated it any deeper.
If it's anything like my 98 avenger. All you have to do is re lock the car with the key or if you have a key fob lock it that way. It should disarm it once it goes off
The problem with the Monte Carlo is in the Security system itself I own a 2001 SS and it use to do the same thing. The security system does not recognize the key, when you use the key pad to enter the car. The only way I got it to work correctly was to Stop using my key FOB (remote). If you have the problem where your vehicle will not start, Get out, put the key in the door with it closed and turn the key to unlock for 10 seconds. It tells the car that the key was used to open the door not the key FOB. Monte Lover.
