It could be because your browser didn't crash. It reopens generally after a crash.
To delete your last visited site, you can clear your browser history. In most browsers, you can do this by pressing Ctrl+H (or Cmd+Y on Mac) to open the history, then selecting the site you want to remove and choosing the option to delete or remove it. Alternatively, you can go to the settings or privacy section of your browser, find the option for clearing browsing data, and select to clear history. This will remove your last visited site along with any other browsing data you choose to delete.

To find your last sites visited you go to your history tab and it will show you all the sites you have visited for the last week unless you are browsing in an incognito window.

Hold down the back arrow and then it should come up with history, you click om history and then click on your second to last thing you browsed
Personally, I turn down the brightness, which makes the battery longer. Also, less web browsing preserves it.
You cannot recover the web page directly. You have to get to the history and search the webpage sorted by time.
