Due to the fact that an question can be answered by anyone I would say Wikipedia, but keep in mind that WikiAnswers is great for specific questions and there are some pretty knowledgeable people on this site.
wikipedia is more reliable in terms of reliability but wikianswers is easier and faster to use plus it cuts straight to the point
