means a storm is coming
A ring around the moon is not mentioned in the bible.
Traditionally a ring around the moon means that bad weather is coming.
The moon sometimes appears to have a ring (or halo) around it because of light diffraction in the Earth's upper atmosphere, usually due to ice crystals high in the atmosphere.
before a storm or so people say
YES. Comment: I can't see why it should.

vennela chakram means moon halo. a gigantic white ring around the moon in the sky.

Sometimes there is a lot of moisture in the air. The sunlight reflected from the moon lights up this moisture all around the moon. This appears to us as a ring around the moon. When the air, there is no visible ring.
There is no giant ring around the moon, but if there was one it would simply be called a 'ring'. A ring is made up of tiny shards of dust and rocks orbiting around a body. who ever typed the above is a dork because i just saw the ring around the moon and came in to look it up! Its called a Halo. If you are referring to the ring of light sometimes seen around the Moon, then it is called a halo and is a result of moonlight reflecting and refracting in tiny ice crystals located in clouds or the upper atmosphere.
what a hoe
No, a ring around the moon means that sunshine is coming, pirates used to thing that when rings are around the moon, a sunny day is coming, and sunny days did come from rings around moons.
A ring around the Moon is generally caused by high-altitude ice crystals refracting the moonlight back toward the observer.
When you find out tell me.
A ring around the Moon is caused by the moonlight shining through wispy thin clouds of tiny ice crystals high in the atmosphere.

Like before. I do remember around that time there where ice crystals in the air, causing the moon to shine with an extra ring of light around it. Basically a white ring that shone on the same principle as a rainbow shines in the skies, by the reflection of the water particles (ice this time) in the skies.
