Rihanna is actually of Guyanese decent. Her mother is a native of Guyana and her father is of Barbadian and Irish descent. She has white and black relatives. More than likely there is a little Indian in there too at some point.
Some whites were racist to blacks because they believed that people of African descent were inferior to people of European descent.
Some of the famous Guyanese poets include Martin Carter, Grace Nichols, and David Dabydeen. Martin Carter is known for his politically charged poetry, while Grace Nichols explores themes of cultural identity and the diasporic experience. David Dabydeen's work often delves into colonial history and the complexities of race and identity.
Malcolm Glazer, owner of Manchester United Football Club, is of Lithuanian descent.

Mostly dark-skinned. They have Indians, Africans, Chinese, Portuguese, Native, and British. So, there's not really anything to say about how they look. A lot of the Indian (includes Hindu and Muslim Guyanese) people look dark-skinned or brown, whichever. Very rarely you'd find a light-skinned Guyanese, but they do exist. A lot of people from India say that the Indian-Guyanese look "tamil". Whatever that is. All I know is, I look very light to be Guyanese . So we all vary from different colors. There are some Indian-Guyanese who get mistaken for Egyptian or other, other things. We just look so different amongst each other. We cannot say the people of Guyana look Guyanese because there is no such thing as looking Guyanese. Another thing to note: There are bi-racial individuals in Guyana. These so-called light skinned Indians, while some are not mixed, can be the result of European/Indian unions. There are also mixed East Indians and Blacks, as well as Indians and Chinese. All in all, Guyana holds every variation of brown, with the exception of a incredibly minute, albiet present European population.
There have been famous people in all wars. Some were famous beforehand, some became famous because of the wars and some became famous afterwards.
