The "Kingston Group" is not affiliated with the Mormon Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). It's founders were excommunicated from the Mormon Church in the early 1900's for their practice of polygamy.

After being kicked out of the Mormon Church, the Kingstons and some others formed their own church, called the "Latter Day Church of Christ". Their church exists today with about 3,000 members, mostly in Utah. The group is quite secretive, but they have been accused of some very serious things such as child marriages, intra-family marriages, abuse, fraud, and tax evasion.
