There were no "scientists" involved in the "documentary". It was fake and with computer generated images. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a statement declaring that mermaids don't exist. They are NOT real and two forms can not live within the same body. To be a mermaid would require fish DNA mixed with human DNA and that is not possible.
