There are only two angels actually specifically named in the Bible (possibly three, depending on whether you accept the Book of Tobit as canonical or not): Michael, Gabriel, and (perhaps) Raphael.

What is unusual about the birth of Saint Michael?

The unusual thing about the birth of St. Michael the Archangel is he did not have one. Michael, along with all the other angels, was created by God as a pure spirit in Heaven long before the Universe even existed.

Did St. Michael the Archangel have a family?

No. Angels are spiritual heavenly beings and as such are not married nor have families in our own earthly sense. Jesus made this clear when questioned about who someone was married to in heavven if she had had a succession of huusbands on earth. He told them that in heaven we will be like the angels - not married. However, as baptised Christians we have a huge family - the communion of saints in heaven - all those who are saved, or who have dide in the past in faith - along with the angels. One huge heavenly family rather than a small earthly one.

What actually happened during the battle in the War in Heaven?

This battle has not yet taken place. But as a result of this battle, Satan will be thrown down to the earth, taking 1/3 (those angels that are not elect) of the angels with him. If you mean about when Satan rebelled against the LORD. He was thrown out of Heaven, taking some angels along with him. He was known as Lucifer. But there is another battle that will take place in Heaven, in the coming feature or soon, we don't know when the war will happen or much about it, except what the Bible tells us in Revelations. About when the LORD unlocks the pit, and he gathers up an army of demons. To go to war against God. You can read more about it as I am including a related link so you can learn what Revelations says about it.

Is Satan a deity in Christianity?

No he is not. Satan who's name was Lucifer, was once called the angel of light, was an angel who wanted to be more powerful than God. Lucifer was then cast out of Heaven along with about one-third of the angels in Heaven. The word satan is a Hebrew word that means adversary. Since he was now an adversary of God, the name satan was given to him.

One major event before the beginning of John Milton's epic "Paradise Lost" is the War in Heaven, where Lucifer rebels against God and is cast out of Heaven along with his followers, who become the fallen angels. This rebellion sets the stage for the central conflict of the poem.

Where does it say that Satan took a third of Heaven with him to earth?

The Apocalyptic Book of Jubilees specified that nine tenths of the angels fell and were thrown out of heaven, while one tenth remained sinless and loyal to God. Apparently, medieval writers reversed these proportions, which must have seemed too embarrassingly disproportionate.Answer:The symbolism of the parable that is the book of Revelation indicates that Satan [the Dragon - Rev.12:9] swept one-third of God's created angels into his "government coup attempt" on God's throne in heaven in the beginning."...his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven..." (Rev.12:4).Revelation 1:20 reveals the symbol for "angels" is "stars.""...The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches..."It was this "one-third of God's angels" along with Satan who were cast out of heaven onto the earth where they have been restrained and not permitted to leave, pending Judgment Day, according to Peter and Jude [Rev.12:8-9; II Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6][Rev.] - "...neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great Dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."[II Peter] - "...God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell [tartarus: a spiritual condition of restraint], and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto Judgment."[Jude] - "...And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the Judgment of the Great Day."Satan didn't take one-third of heaven to earth... he took one-third of God's angels into heaven to try to "take the universe" away from God."...thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God... I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High..." (Isa.14:13-14)."And there was war in heaven..." (Rev.12:7).This attempt was thwarted, and Satan didn't take his angels to earth with him... they were all forcibly detained here against their will until Judgment Day."...I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." (Luke 10:18)

Where is the verse And all the angels in heaven will rejoice when one prays to receive the Lord?

This has been a confusing topic for a long time. In the gospel of Luke 15:7 KJV ...joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth... vs. 10 reads ...there is joy in the presence of the angels...KJV. The "joy" that is talked about is not the joy of the angels, but the joy of someone in the presence of the angels. This could be alot of different people. Who is in the presence of the angels?? Well God for one, Jesus himself, Loved ones that have gone on before us, Pretty much all that are in heaven except the angels. Thes angels are there, but the joy isn't theirs. The joy belongs to those that are in the presence of the angels. This confusion is brought about by the new translations of the King James Version of the bible. People seem to think that it is OK to change the word of God and by doing so they create their own doctrine. So stay with KJV and dont buy into every fable that comes along. Revelation 22:18-19 gives us a firm warning not to mess the the word of God. But what is more important is that you are born again, through faith and trust in Jesus Christ our Saviour. Hope this helped, DLC
