What are the Pokemon you need to get in order to get the National Pokedex in Pokemon Platinum?

You don't have to get any Pokemon to get the national pokedex in platinum, but you do have to see every Pokemon in sinnoh. Don't worry, if you're thinking "Oh no! How the heck am I gonna see all those Pokemon?!", you shouldn't. If you battled as much as you could, you saw every Pokemon in sinnoh, even if you weren't a fan of tall grass.

Whats the smallest Pokemon?

The smallest Pokemon is not Pichu. Pichu is 1 foot, the smallest Pokemon is Diglett, 8 inches. Also, an Azurill is 8 inches. Budew of the Sinnoh region is also 8 inches. Burmy (Grass Cloak), Burmy (Trash Cloak) and Burmy (Sandy Cloak) are also 8 inches and found in the Sinnoh region. Chingling of the Sinnoh region is 8 inches. Natu of the Johto region is 8 inches as well. And those are all of the smallest pokemon. Hope this helped.

Do you have to catch every single Pokemon in the Sinnoh region to get the national pokedex?

1. You do not have to catch them, just list them by catching (I guess..) or seeing them (Wild, Trainer, Etc....) 2. In Platinum you need to list all of the Sinnoh Pokemon (besides Shaymin, Arceus and Darkrai) 3. In Diamond/Pearl you do not have to list Pokemon like Magmortar, Electivire, Gliscor, Porygon-Z and all those hard-to-get Pokemon (only Spiritomb).
