If one believes the writings of The Bible's Old Testament, Eve could be said to have eaten the first apple. Although it was the "apple of the Tree of Life" and probably not a literal apple.

If you are religious, most likely the fruit in which Adam and Eve ate. The fruit was never named, but they do give descriptions of the fruit, such as evil, careless.
