Benjamin Franklin is generally credited with the invention of the wood stove.
The development of the wood stove is rather more complex than a single invention, however. What Franklin did was to improve on the fireplace with an iron fireplace insert that heated air from the room and pushed it back into the room to warm it. Some people would say this was not a wood stove, so much as an improved fireplace, leaving the actual stove to be invented by someone else. Others might object that other inventions anticipated Franklin's, so the invention should be ascribed to someone earlier. Nevertheless, if you want a name of an individual, the best name to choose might be Benjamin Franklin.
Hadrian's wall on the borders between England and Scotland is very famous The Antonine wall is less well known as is the walls Of Lugo in Spain
First of all, regarding Roman Empires, there was only one Roman Empire. The Romans developed a militaristic mindset and were very proud of victories in battle. Another thing they were proud was the construction of public works, which they built all around the empire.
the very first wheel was invented by the cavemen in the late 12 billion BC,
It looked like a flower pot. It was an orangey colour and was used to cover fires overnight. The handle was an arch shape and it had lot's of patterns around it. It was a very clever way of keeping the fire burning.
The Romans developed the famous stone-paved roads for military purposes. They facilitated the movement of soldiers to the front of wars or to garrisons they build in areas they wanted to keep under control and the transport of suppliers to the troops. The first network was developed around Italy, which is where Rome first expanded. They were centred on Rome because that is where the deployment of troops started. As Rome expanded beyond Italy, other stone-paved roads which were not centred on Rome were built around the empire. The Romans did not build roads only for military purposes. The stone paved roads constituted 20% of the 400,000 Km (250,000 miles) network of roads which was built in the Roman Empire. The Romans also built gravelled roads (the via glareata) and level earthen roads (the via terrena). Many of these roads linked part of the empire without being centred on Rome as well.
Put wood inside instead of coal one day and see what happens. Size does not matter. If it is a large stove use large wood, if it is a small stove then use small wood.
The first stove was invented by Benjamin Franklin and was called Franklin stove in 1742. It was a partially open fire place but had improved efficiency. Later stoves came to be made on the same principle
There is a link below to an article in Wikipedia. I think the article could use some improvement, but there it is. There are a bunch of sites on the internet that are devoted to wood stoves. Really, to choose one, more information is needed on the type of stove. The original Franklin stove is very different from a masonry stove, and both are very different from a wood cook stove.
If the stove was designed with legs (most are) then you should have legs on the stove. This is to keep the very hot parts of the stove away from things that can burn. Some masonry stoves do not have legs- but weigh several tons, and will never get hot enough to cause a fire.
They have been in business for 30 years and they also have a brick and mortar store so these are very good signs. I have not heard any negative reports about Discount Stove & Fireplace.
the very first car was built in France 1770, the first petrol car was built in Germany
The color of the flame is based on how efficiently the flame is burning.......the blue is burning very efficiently as per the yellow it is burning slightly less efficiently
Not the best wood. Rapid burn, rapid burn out, very high creosote production- if used other than as kindling, be sure to clean your chimney OFTEN.
The keel, or the very bottom of the ship, was built first, and the skeletal rib sections were built up from there.
The very first Ford vehicle was the Quadricycle built in 1896.
An over-the-stove range is an appliance that is mounted level with the counter-top, but not necessarily over a built-in stove. This gets Very hot from the burners. The only materials that I have seen used here are steel, glass, or porcelain. I would discourage the use of even high temperature paint.
The very first automobile ever built was the Cugnot Steam Trolley. It was designed and built between 1769 and 1771 by Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot.
