You cannot get inside the basement while Rodrick is playing his drums, but there is a way to get him out. First you need to find Rowleys bike, go inside the school and get the Twisted Wizards game guide for Greg. Then give the guide to Greg. Greg will win the level and give you the game to give back to Rowley. When you go to his house he will be locked inside by his dad. So you have to jump on his dads car and once the alarm goes off run real quick and hide in the bush by there door. As soon as his dad goes to see whats happening run inside the house and give Rowley back the game. In thanks he will give you a fan club member card. Go back to Gregs house and use the card to open the locked utility closet. Then go and examine the circuit box and turn off the power for the basement. Rodrick will leave so you can go down in the basement and you will also have access to the garage.
