There is no answer for this question so I will give you the key facts so you can make your own decision. Henry VIII`s first wife Cathrine of argon, marriage was arranged, after his brother Arthur died after marrying her. His second wife Anne Bolyne, though not pretty by the starders of the day, was flirty and it was said any man could fall for her. Her sister Mary Bolyne as a mistress to the king gave birth to a son, but as the boy was not birthed in marriage he had no claim to the thrown, so Ann the singal (and known as pure) one of the sisters, was thrown at the king and used her flirty self to attract the kings attention and saying she could give him a son. Something Cathrine had failed to do over her 1 child Mary later to become Queen Mary I and 8 failed miscarriages. Henry went through the courts and the pope blur blur blur but that's a diffrent story Im focusing on the relationship, but if Henry VIII is willing to go through all that does that mean he loved her or that he just really wanted a son, he was so conviced she would give him? Your answer like I said your oppion. Anyway Henry divorced Cathrine and married Ann. The public did not like this as Cathrine was loved by the people and now she had been replaced, they called Ann names from the streets of England such as Whore, Bitch, and most importantly Whitch saying she had pocessed the king to divorce his wife over a spell. Ann Bolyne gave birth to a healthy girl and named her Elizabeth after Henry`s mother the first words Henry said when he heard the news of a health baby GIRL was "well, if we can have a healthy girl, theirs no reason we cant have a healthy boy." Glaring at Ann. But they put a brave face on in front of the public. Ann suffered 2-4 misscarriages later in the marriage. Now at this point Ann is struggling, and Jane Symore (forgive the spelling) comes to court, she was small, shy, timid and pretty; the perfect Tudor wife, she caught the kings intention and he send her presents asking of she would be his misstress she very politly refused. Henry didnt give up though and started to spend time with her. They promised to be married but their was one problem Ann Bolyne HIS WIFE, he couldn't divorce her, that would lower the publics oppion on him further and the last thing he needs is a revolt. So he asks his courters to find out some info on Ann`s past, something that will get him out of this marriage a free man to marry Jane Symore. They do find some dirt about a relationship Ann had with Henry Persy before she was married to the king, they promised to be married but didnt get married because he went off to marry someone else. They found 7 people altogether including her BROTHER ewwww! to accusse of adulty against the king will in marriage. All of the accussed were torutured and said they had an afair with Ann (but lets face it under that amount of pain your going to say anything to make it stop. Just saying. Your Oppion) And then Ann was accussed of adultuary and in turn a tratior, and so was sentenced to death. Though something he did not do with his other wife, Henry let her chose how she could die and how it was done. She asked for a french beheading with the sword to make it quicker. Before she died she gave a letter to Henry stating "If I die a thousand deaths, I will always love you." She was excuted and Henry 2 weeks later married Jane Symore, she gave birth to the son Henry had always wanted, he discribed her as "An Angel" he never had a mistress will with her something he done for no other wife. However the celebrations didnt last long as 2 days after the birth Jane died of childbirth. The king was said to have been very depressed for weeks, saying that his son needed his mother, and he needed his wife. Ok im not going to go on about the other 3 because i need to sleep but at least you get the basic gist of the first 3 :):) x

Btw: sorry for the long information but I dig deep. And if you like all this Tudor stuff Go onto YouTube and look David Strakey "The Six Wifes of Henry VIII" it is brilliant all the information you will ever need. Seriously try it !!!!!

the one who died, Jane Seymour Henry VIII had a lot of wives, Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, and Catherine Parr. Who he really loved was Jane Seymour for giving his first and only son, Edward I. Sadly she died after childbirth 1503-1537.

Henry loved Jane Seymour, His 3rd wife the most, many Historians say. The reason for this is that she, out of all his six wives, was the only one that supplied a living male heir. Catherine of Aragon gave birth to a son, but he died within a year, only their daughter Mary had survived. Finally Henry was given a legitimate son and there was national rejoicing everywhere, he was devastated when Jane died a few days later after a painful birth.
