Pip saw a gentleman with a black beard and hat who turned out to be Compeyson. Compeyson was a criminal who had once been engaged to marry Pip's love interest, Estella's mother, Miss Havisham. His appearance stirred up troubling memories for Pip.

In Chapter 50 of Great Expectations, Pip shows courage by confronting his benefactor, Magwitch, who is in grave danger of being captured by the authorities. Despite the risks to his own safety, Pip remains by Magwitch's side and tries to protect him from harm, displaying loyalty and bravery in the face of adversity.
During their wait, Pip and Estella engage in casual conversation about their surroundings and their thoughts. Estella expresses her feelings about their brief time together and shares her perspective on their past. Similarly, Pip reflects on their relationship and contemplates the future.

Pip learns that Estella is on her way to London through a letter from Jaggers informing him of her impending arrival. Jaggers, who is Estella's guardian, notifies Pip that she will be coming to London to visit him.
Magwitch dies in prison before he can be executed, which is a result of injuries sustained during a struggle with his rival, Compeyson. He dies knowing that his wealth will go to Pip, whom he views as a son.
Pip realized he had overslept and had to leave in a hurry. He found a letter waiting for him on the breakfast table.
Joe looks after pip while his sister beats him so pip has a closer bond to Joe than his sister
Magwitch tells Pip that he is the father of Estella, and he asks for Pip's forgiveness for all the trouble he has caused him. He expresses gratitude for Pip's kindness and friendship, and he dies peacefully believing he has made amends for his past actions.

Pip and Pop are two twin otters from Bear in the Big Blue House, a Jim Henson production that aired on The Disney Channel for a long while. RIP Pip and Pop. I will miss the both of you.
