But it is believed that the offerings made by us goes to any of the GOD like, the Hindu God, Jesus Christ or Prophet and so on --------------- It is a symbolic gesture of reciprocation. Your giving a little back to the God that provides you everything. eg. in a house, say the father is the provider. At some point of time, the kids give something (maybe a gift, or something they made) to their father. This act, brings immense pleasure not only to the father, but also the kids. Here, the father may not need the gift and yet the happiness it brings around is difficult to explain.
no, real hindus don't eat meat. the religion believe that every creature has a right to live and the only thing that separates us from animals is the fact that humans know the difference between right and wrong and by killing animals, we prove ourselves to be nothing less than an animal.
