Muslims recognize Muhammad as the final Prophet of Islam.
*It is however to be noted that Muhammad is the believed to be the final Prophet in world history, being the only prophet to be under the fold of Islam.
Most Muslims recognize MUHAMMAD as the final prophet or capstone of the prophets, considering him the final prophet who joined the Judeo-Christian line of prophecy (Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc.) with the Arab line of prophecy (Saleh and Hud) and presumably joined other lines of prophecy in other parts of the world. The doctrine that Muhammad is the final prophet is a relatively established doctrine in Sunni, Shiite, and Ibadi Islam.
Ahmadiyya Islam, which is considered by Sunni, Shiite, and Ibadi Islam to be a heresy, argues that the final prophet was actually Ahmed Mirza Ghulam, a 19th century Islamic Scholar in British Colonial India. The claim that Ahmed Mirza Ghulam is an Islamic Prophet is one of the main reasons that Sunni, Shiite, and Ibadi Islam consider Ahmadiyya a heresy.
According to the teachings of the holy Qur'an and the sayings of the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w.) the Muslims believe that Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w.) is the last Prophet of islam and the QUR'AN IS THE LAST heavenly book.
Islam. Mohammed is considered the final prophet by Muslims, and the teachings and beliefs of Islam are based on the revelations he received from Allah, as recorded in the Quran.
Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the last and final prophet.
Once you accepted have Islam in the belief that there is no god but Allah and Prophet Mohammed's [Peace be upon him] is the final and last messenger you are a 'Muslim'.
Yes. Though the Muslims believe in all the previous prophets (May peace be upon them all).
Quran is the verbatim of God. It was revealed upon the final Prophet of Islam Muhammad PBUH through the angel Jibrael AS who descended from the heavens and made the prophet memorize it bit by bit. It holds the entire commandments of Islam, which have been practically performed by the Prophet himself for further guidance. There are no loopholes in Islam.
No. Muslims believe that Mohammed was the final prophet and the capstone of the prophets.
Yes. Actually the question is posed in a difficult fashion. Muslims believe that Islam is the religion that God wants people to follow. This entails that Muslims believe in God alone without partners and they believe that Muhammad is the final prophet of God. Everything that Muhammad brought is the final guidance to mankind until the day of judgment.
Dear friend, the religion is called Islam (which means surrender to the will of God). And the followers of Islam are called Muslims (meaning servant of God). If you consider this, then the first man to be created - Prophet Adam (may peace be upon him) was also a Muslim. So were many other prophets and civilizations. Hence, Islam dates back to the creation of man or maybe even before that. Some of the other well known prophets of Islam are: Prophet Noah, Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus (may peace be upon all of them). They all were Muslims. The last and final prophet of Islam was Prophet Mohammad (may peace be on him). He conveyed the teachings of Islam to the people between the 6th and 7th century. It was during his time that the religion of Islam was complete. Unfortunately people refer only to the people who followed Islam during and after our last Prophet (may peace be upon him) as Muslims.
