usually it revolves around this method:
- download the mod
- press windows (the picture of the windows sign on your keyboard)+r
- type in %appdata% and press enter
- click on the .minecraft folder
- go into bin
- you will see a file called minecraft.jar. to open this, you have to download WinRar (just Google it and download it)
- when you have winrar, right click on minecraft.jar and select open with/ winrar
- drag all of the files in
- open minecraft and see if it has worked
if this doesnt work, check where you downloaded it from. there will probably be a step by step guide pn how to download it if it is more complex.
