Spoilers: Cloud is trying to move on from the events of FFVII in Advent Children. He is a bit of a recluse and is by himself most of the time. Aeris/Aerith is dead, and Tifa is shafted due to Cloud's emo-ness. Cloud ends up with his friends at the end of Advent Children (i.e., Tifa, Barret, Yuffie, Cid, Red XIII, Cait Sith, orphans) but romantically, he's alone.

We cannot say yet but Cloud does come close to death in the end of crisis core where Zack dies. Also Yazoo and Soz shoot Cloud in Advent Children but he is saved by aerith's spirit, who, along with the Lifestream, cleanse the world of Geostigma.

You see a glimpse of Zack in the doorway, Aerith walking towards him. Cloud smiles when she asks, "Is everything alright now?" Then he replies with, "I'm not alone." Then the screen blanks out, credits run, and a person cosplaying Cloud rides the highway. THE END. =D

According to SE Cloud and Tifa confirm their mutual romantic feelings (revealed in the Lifestream) to each other "without words" under the Highwind. After the game they begin living together and eventually raise Marlene and Denzel together. So to answer the question. No they did not date. They skipped that and went straight to living together and raising a family.

i guess technically, they could if Sephiroth came back and somehow managed to take control of Cloud again as he did in the original 7. but really no because i mean, if you played the original 7, then you would know that Sephiroth controled Cloud through the mass qunatities of JENOVA cells in his body, making Cloud give Sephiroth the Black Materia. however in the end of the game, before the scripted fight between Cloud and Sephiroth, Sephiroth attampts to take control of Cloud's mind again, but due to Cloud's new found strength, he is not put under Sepiroth's control. so, in answer to your question, NO. What's more, her feelings are reciprocated, as SE has confirmed that they let their mutual feelings be known in the Lifestream sequence(they also call her his lover)and now live and raise a family together(Marlene and their adopted son, Denzel). They go through a rough patch during Advent Children caused by Cloud's fear of failure and past regrets, but SE confirms that all is well at the end of AC, and they go back to living together happily.
