(Some medical sites say the average person expels gas about fifteen to twenty times a day.) How often or how much you fart has very little to do with whether you are a boy or a girl. It mainly has to do with what you eat. Certain foods are more likely to make you have gas (beans, cabbage, some soft drinks, even Chewing Gum), and if you eat a diet high in gas-causing foods, you will fart more often.
