Historically and ethically, Swami Dayanand Saraswati deserves the place of Rashtrapita because he was the first national figure who spoke, wrote and sermoned for the freedom of India in 1876.Because of his writings, preachings and reforms, there were born revolutionaries who were responsible for attaining the Freedom of India. Mahatma Gandhi came much later on the map of the Struggle for India's freedom. He had only reaped what Dayanand had sown for the struggle. Seven years before Gandhi was even born, Dayanand spoke and had preached for Swarajya i.e. Self governance in his writings and preachings. Gandhi followed the movements started by Dayanand of Untouchability, Social evils, Women's education, Adoption of Swadeshi or Hindi as National language etc. etc. and for some political compulsions of the era he was declared Rashtrapita. In that chronology Swami Dayanand is regarded as Rashtrapitamah (Grandfather of the Nation)
This quote is attributed to the Indian freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. It translates to "Freedom is our birthright and we shall have it." Bhagat Singh was a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement against British colonial rule.
chhtrapati shivaji maharaj is a great king of maharashtra the founder of hindvi swarajya no other person or greatsoul in world is as great as chhtrapati shivaji maharaj....
Mahatma Gandhi had reaped what Dayanand had sown for the Swarajya movement. Arvindo Ghosh regarded Swami Dayanand as the tallest amongst all who fought for the Swarajya. Swami Vivekananda infused energy into the sleeping nation telling Arise and Awake, while Swami Dayanand Saraswati, who had founded Arya Samaj much earlier, generated the spirit of Freedom i.e. Self Governance or Swarajaya. That is how Swami Dayanand Saraswati stands tallest and is revered as Rashtrapitamah of India.
