The so-called "Holy Land" is the territory in and around Jerusalem. Three religions, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, have important religious locations there.

Any follower of any of those religions might want to visit that area at some point in their life. In addition, the region has been continuously inhabited for several thousand years, so those who lack a religious interest but are interested in human history and the development of civilization, or merely in the history of the region, would also be interested in going there.

If by 'holy land' you mean Israel - more specifically Jerusalem, I would suggest any and all and those with no religion (agnostics and atheists alike).

If you mean those that have had an impact, I would suggest you consider which religions and Empires have built structures upon the Temple Mount. The Romans destroyed the Temple in 70 CE and most forget that they built their own Temple, dedicated to Zeus (portrayed as an old man with a beard sitting on clouds - sound familiar?), on the Temple Mount, changing the philosophy of the Jewish culture by doing so (prior, Jews played no sport - deeming it immoral). The Arabs destroyed this Temple and erected the current structure - The Dome of the Rock . . . which brings us to today, with religious Jews now bowing down at the Wailing Wall, the remaining and re-stacked blocks from their ancient temple.
