Moses did not free the Israelites from Egypt.
God did. (Exodus 19:4)
God USED Moses as the mediator between himself and mankind(Galatians 3:19)
and also used Moses and his brother, Aaron, to guide the Israelites out of bondage from Egypt,(Exodus 4:10-16) but only God had the power to bring about an exodus of such proportion.(Exodus 7:3-5)(Psalm 136:1-16)
God sent 10 plagues:
1. The First Plague-The Nile Turned to Blood (7:14-25)
2. The Second Plague-Frogs (8:1-15)
3. The Third Plague-Lice (8:16-19)
4 The Fourth Plague-Flies (8:20-32)
5. The Fifth Plague-Pestilence on Livestock (9:1-7)
6. The Sixth Plague-Boils (9:8-12)
7. The Seventh Plague-Hail and Fire (9:13-35)
8. The Eighth Plague-Locusts (10:1-20)
9. The Ninth Plague-Three Days of Darkness (10:21-29)
10 The death of all the first born in Egypt (12:29-32)
Ten plagues (Exodus ch.7-12).
In the Exodus, Moses brought the Israelites out of the Egyptian slavery under the guidance of God, after God brought plagues upon the Egyptians (Exodus ch.1-12).
After the Israelites left, Egypt was in turmoil for decades. Though Israel was later harassed (Judges ch.3,6 and 10) by its smaller neighbors (Ammon, Moab, Midian), not a peep was heard from Egypt for four hundred years.
Egypt's turmoil is also borne out by the Ipuwer papyrus, which mentions a number of the Plagues ("Pestilence is throughout the land....the river is blood, death is not scarce...there is no food...neither fruit nor herbs can be found...barley has perished...all is ruin...the statues are burned") (Professor John van Seters, Journal of Egyptian Archaeology no. 50). The plagues were also described by ancient historians, including Herodotus and Diodorus. The Exodus is mentioned by Strabo, Berosus, Artapanus, Numenius, Justin, and Tacitus.

Aaron was the companion of Moses when they came back to Egypt to set free the Israelites
If the question is whether there is any proof, or even circumstantial evidence that Moses freed the Israelites from Egypt, the answer is a definite 'no'. In fact, a considerable and growing amount of evidence proves very much the opposite. There was no Exodus from Egypt as described in the Bible.
Moses killed the Egyptian, so he had to wait for forty years until it was God's time to free the Israelites.
Pharaoh heart was hardened , so he would not let the Israelites free.
Moses lived for 120 years, 40 years in Egypt, 40 years in the land of Midian and 40 years leading the Hebrew people in the way to the promised land. ANSWER: Moses lived in Egypt for 40 years and learned all the ways of the Egyptians. The next 40 years Moses lived as a shepherd, was married and His father in law (Jethro) was a priest of Midian. It has been said by many scholars that Jethro was a priest of the one true God. If this is so he and Moses had a lot to talk about as Moses had been raised by his mother, Jecobed for some years and no doubt was told about God by her. It was during the last part of the desert years that Jehovah called Moses to deliver the children out of Egypt. The next 40 years Moses did in fact lead the children out of Egypt and was the go between of God and the Israelites. It wasn't Moses' experience that led God to call upon him. All the work of bringing the Israelites out of Egypt was God's doing. Moses was the instrument.
God instructed Moses to go to Pharaoh and demand the release of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. He was to tell Pharaoh, "Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness."
"Free at last" comes from a Negro Spiritual that discusses how the Israelites felt after departing from Egypt and enslavement. It was seen as similar to the African-American movement to achieve freedom from the oppression of their people in the United States.
