Who invented the E-Mail?
It was invented by Ray Tomlinson(Raymond Samuel Tomlinson)in 1971. Also the world's first integrated email system was invented by Dr. V. A. Shiva Ayyadurai from MIT. He designed the first email system in 1980.
You can send invented moshlings to Moshi Monsters only when they are having a moshling design contest. Watch the Daily Growl for information about the contest and they will also give you an email address to send your entry to. You will need to save your moshling picture to your computer either by designing it on the computer or scanning it, then send it in as an attachment to an email.
In the early 1971, Ray Tomlinson was working on a small team developing the TENEX operating system, with local email programs called SNDMSG and READMAIL. In late 1971, Tomlinson developed the first ARPANET email application when he updated SNDMSG by adding a program called CPYNET capable of copying files over the network, and informed his colleagues by sending them an email using the new program with instructions on how to use it.
Why is it that you still cannot unsend an email on most servers when email was invented decades ago and there have been countless other improvements on the technology since then?
The email client called "gmail" (Google Mail) allows you to unsend a mail within a specified period of time. Other email clients have not continued to update their technology, mainly because of associated costs. As one example, AOL updates some aspects but has not made a drastic overhaul in a long time.
