This is definitely possible. A WW 1 vet would have been born around 1900 and would put him in his late 50's. There were Vietnam vets this age who served in the Gulf War. This also could mean that it was possible for a Vet to have served in WW 1, WW 2, Korea and Vietnam.

Yes some are. My husbands grandfather, who is about to become a great grandfather is a Vietnam vet and we are about to make my father also a Vietnam vet a grandfather.

I just read in the rta retired tugboat association that it was james t dobbins for two years. From a comment he left on the site. Also on ship spotters.
