Samuel Kaboo Morris (1873 - May 12, 1893) was a Liberian prince who converted to Christianity around the age of 14.His life helped to inspire other people to go to Africa to preach the gospel.God used Samuel to lead the crew to Christ.
Samuel Morris was prince of a tribe in Africa. A neighboring tribe captured him and beat him almost to death. Just before he thought that he was about to die, he called out 'if there is a creator please save me'. That night while in his cell he saw a bright light and the chains on his wrists were loosened and he was set free. He followed the light to a missionary camp; shortly after telling his story to them he accepted Jesus as his savior. After several years he went on a ship to the US to learn more about Christ. There he attended Taylor University and was a witness for Christ. After several years he became sick and the Lord took him home before he got to tell his father and tribe about Christ. After he died his college friends went to Africa to share God's word with his family and friends.
