Christianity is the world's largest religion by far with over 2.1 billion people who follow Christ and Christ's teachings, and this number is growing daily.

Christianity is spread throughout the world in most of Europe, N America, S. America, most countries in Africa, many countries in Asia, including large numbers in Russia, India and China, and most of Australasia.

Only in the Middle East and some African and Asian countries (where Islam is predominant) and parts of India (where Hinduism is predominant) and other parts of Asia (where Buddhism is predominant), plus a few other areas where minority religions dominate, is Christianity not the predominant religion.

Growth has declined in recent years in some European countries, but in most Christianity is growing steadily. However, in some countries it is growing exponentially. For example, one church in Korea has over 800,000 members who meet in a vast hall in several sittings on each Sunday, and in China growth has mushroomed from an estimated 5000 members throughout the country to an estimated 100 million members today. If growth continues at this rate, China will be predominantly Christian within 20 years.
