In my area the driver is At Fault if he runs into, Cow Moose, Deer, Horse etc.
The exception is if the animal on a Limited access highway (interstate or freeway) AND the animal is a domestic (farm) animal then the person allowing his livestock to stray is at fault.
jesus
If the driver with the suspended license caused the accident then he/she is responsible.
The driver is responsible for hitting the cow. The sign is there to warn drivers to take care in case cows are crossing the road.
The driver would be at fault as they are responsible to be aware at all times.
The driver of the first striking car is responsible for all subsequent damage.
The driver is always responsible for whatever happens to vehical he is driving
They are responsible for everyone in the car.
If the accident was caused by the uninsured driver than the uninsured driver is definitely still responsible.
It's going to be very difficult to claim that it's not the fault of the person who was breaking the law by driving illegally.
If YOU are the driver of the vehicle that started the chain collision, and pushed the car you hit into the car in front ot it. - YOU are responsible.
Yes. Ultimately the driver is responsible for the vehicle and for everything that happens to/by it. If the driver wasn't responsible, who would you suggest might be?
Both of you are responsible. 1).The driver who had no license will be cited for it and the accident, as well. 2).You're responsible for allowing that driver to drive that vehicle, knowing that he/she was not licensed at the time. It's called "Negligent Entrustment" as well as "Contributory Negligence".
