for me and all other cat people it is cats because they solve problems and think about their environment which is why they don't play fetch or race because they see no point in doing it
if you are a dog person you will think dogs because they can play fetch and race and they help people inculding blind people, deaf people, the police and to save drowning people
The difference is minute, but cats are more intelligent than dogs..
Dogs may appear smarter but are really just naturally obedient (once they've learned that your in charge). Cat's are just lazy unlike dogs who are energetic. So it matters on the animal's intelligence. After one person can be smarter than another but you can't tell that by just looking at themn't tell by just looking at them
The ideal answer is that it is very difficult to judge. Both animals exhibit some levels of intelligence.
Both animals can be taught tricks. However, dogs are very much pack animals and will view their human owner the "leader" and will depend on the owner for guidance and order in general day-to-day life. Cats, however, are solitary animals. Cats have little reason to follow their owners around unless in need of something, thus gaining a reputation of being "aloof" and "independent." Not all cats are like this, however. Some cats, even certain breeds, are known to be very loyal to their owners and will happily follow them around.
Cats and dogs are both very smart they have different types of memory.
Scientifically speaking, dogs are smarter than cats. Dogs have larger brains and are known to cooperate better with each other and humans, further developing their intelligence.
a bird it can memorize more and can speack some of them and have real feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Neither. It's whichever one you own.
Maybe it is a cat I'm pretty sure it is...
a dog. it shows that a dog has 2.6 billion neurons and a cat only has 300 million or 1.2 billion neurons
Dog
Technically no. But there are times when it does seem that animal surpass humans in their ability to understand, and to be kind to one another.
cat then dog
You spay a female dog and cat, you neuter a male dog and cat.
A dog and a cat. Let the dog chase the cat, if the cat gets caught, the dog is faster ;^)
If a dog will be protecting a cat is only if the dog grew up around the cat and adapted to it, but if the cat protected the dog they will reverse cyclogy and protect each other.
a cat isnt smarter then a dog. a dog has 18 billion neurons while a cat only has 7 billion neurons
Dogs, with a few notable exceptions.
a dog has 18 billion neurons while a cat has about 7 billion neurons
cat
Way smart! Neither dogs nor cats are smarter than the others, I'm afraid. You see, each one is better at some things than the others. Also, all the other answers you will most likely get are biased, because of course the dog people will say dogs are smarter and all the cat people will say cats are smarter.
Even though I love dogs and cats, I think dogs are smarter. This isn't a fact though, I think dogs are smarter because they can hunt wild animals, do cool tricks, there smart (some) and save people. Why do you think dalmations are firefighter dogs and german shepards are police dogs? Cats are mostly cuddlers, they can jump high and stuff but they can't always firgue stuff out. So you test a cat or a dog if there smarter. It'll be Are you smarter than a dog or cat LOL :P
of course a dog is smarter Micheal pilotte has no brain!!!
Technically no. But there are times when it does seem that animal surpass humans in their ability to understand, and to be kind to one another.
I think experts say dogs but don't think they are necessarily smarter just different so more easily trainable.
Train the dog and teach it tricks. Then you can say that it is alot smarter than a smart dog.
A herring!
if non-dog mean creatures that are not dog then all cat are non-dog.
